The world of NFL broadcasting features individuals changing teams and getting big contracts, and former players are a big part of that.

Former New Orleans Saints and New York Jets linebacker Jonathan Vilma began his broadcasting career with ESPN to cover college football. He's now reportedly heading to FOX to be an analyst on NFL broadcasts.

Pro Football Talk reports that Vilma is expected to be paired with Kenny Albert and replace Ronde Barber in that spot. The linebacker began his playing career with the Jets before heading to New Orleans and winning a Super Bowl. He was also a key figure in the Bountygate scandal, but has moved forward and launched a new career.

ESPN is facing questions in the Monday Night Football booth and also lost Adam Amin to FOX this year. Another departure is bad news for the network, but great news for FOX as the network looks to match the excitement brought to the booth by Tony Romo at CBS.
