For former New England Patriot Richard Seymour, poker used to just be a hobby. Now, the three-time Super Bowl champion is attempting to secure another title, but this time at the 2019 World Series of Poker. And he's doing a pretty excellent job of it.

It turns out his poker face is just as good as his game face. His chip count of 2.75 million was good enough for 35th place, keeping him in contention for the $10 million prize by reaching Day 5. As a result, the seven-time Pro Bowler is already guaranteed to walk out with at least $34,845.

This isn't his first rodeo. The 39-year-old has won over $575,00 in total gambling winnings, including $147,851 on the World Poker Tour.

It is clear that Seymour is a jack of all trades. When he wasn't padding his pockets with money from the casino, he was doing so with contract bonuses for the many achievements he had during his tenure in the NFL.

Over the course of his 12-year career, Seymour was named First-Team All-Pro three consecutive times. His best season came in 2003, recording a career-high 57 tackles, 8 sacks, and 1 forced fumble in what would eventually turn into a championship effort.
