Former Patriots LB and ESPN NFL Analyst Tedy Bruschi Suffers Stroke
By Michael Luciano

A three-time Super Bowl champion and one of the best linebackers of the early 2000's is in the hospital after his second stroke.
Former New England Patriots linebacker and current ESPN analyst Tedy Bruschi was hospitalized after suffering a transient ischemic attack, a type of mini-stroke caused by a temporary blockage of blood to the brain. In a statement from his "Tedy's Team" charity, his family claims that Tedy had difficulty speaking and his face was drooping.
Prayers to @TedyBruschi, one of the most loyal teammates and best people you will ever meet. Wishing you a speedy recovery ?? https://t.co/C2d6tq6ZPu pic.twitter.com/uo5onMZy2b

Bruschi played 13 years in New England, picking up 1,063 tackles, 30.5 sacks, and 12 interceptions on his way to three Super Bowl rings.
In 2005, Bruschi suffered a stroke just days after the Super Bowl that forced him to miss nearly half of the next season.
Bruschi, who was named Comeback Player of the Year in 2005 for his ability to recover and get back to his previous elite level, is recovering at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, Mass.
Best wishes to @TedyBruschi as he recovers from a stroke. He is a great, great guy. Always friendly, always smiling. Get well soon, Tedy.
