Former Packers LB Blake Martinez Puts Wisconsin Home up for Sale After Signing With Giants
By Jerry Trotta

It would appear that linebacker Blake Martinez is cutting all of his ties to the Green Bay Packers organization.
Last week, the 26-year-old tackling specialist inked a deal with the New York Giants in free agency. Roughly a week after penning an emotional goodbye to the Packers, Martinez confirmed on his Instagram story that he's selling his home in De Pere, Wisconsin.

If there was any guaranteed last chapter to Martinez's tenure in Green Bay, this was surely it.
This isn't a spiteful move from Martinez, either. It's evident that the Packers meant everything to him. That relationship simply ran its course and the Stanford product is now moving on to the next stage of his NFL career.

Martinez didn't necessarily get the signing bonus he was pursuing, but he'll have no objections to receiving $19 million guaranteed. He's one of the most sound tacklers the league has to offer, and he'll look to bring that pedigree to a Giants defense that is desperate for playmakers.
