Former Marshall Volleyball Star Kayla Simmons Joined Dan Bilzerian's Cannabis Company

Not all NCAA athletes pursue their practice beyond their college experience. Some have a vastly different future in store for them than the sport they grew up attached to.

Former Marshall volleyball star Kayla Simmons decided to set out on a contrasting professional career, as she's recently joined Dan Bilzerian's cannabis company, Ignite.

As part of Simmons' new responsibilities, she will be advertising the product on social media. She already boasts nearly 165,000 Instagram followers, so getting the word around on Ignite should be a piece of cake.

Now well beyond her time at school in West Virginia, Simmons is off enjoying the warm weather in LA, working alongside Bilzerian to push his latest business venture.
