Former Giant Jeremy Affeldt Calls Out Max Muncy for His Trash Talk Directed at Madison Bumgarner

Former San Francisco Giants left-handed reliever Jeremy Affeldt is firmly in Madison Bumgarner's corner in the Bumgarner-Max Muncy feud.

After Muncy launched a Bumgarner cutter halfway to Hawaii to give the Dodgers a 1-0 win, the LA slugger got into a shouting match with Bumgarner, who was a bit peeved Muncy took so long to round the bases. After hearing of Muncy's pretty savage comeback, Affeldt backed up his former teammate.

Yes, Affeldt brought out the dreaded #faketoughguy, which is apparently supposed to be an insult that actually affects Muncy.

Keep in mind, Muncy was just minding his business, circling the bases when an irritated pitcher started whining and complaining to an umpire. Who's the fake tough guy there?

Bumgarner had the right idea in his postgame interview. Take the L, explain your behavior in a logical and concise way, and move on. Affeldt, however, is not ready to move on, and apparently wants Bumgarner and Muncy to settle this like REAL men.

Something tells me that isn't going to happen, however.
