Bob Wylie had a lot to say about the Cleveland Browns' coaching staff again this week, where he served as the offensive line coach from 2017 to January 2019.

Wylie was surprised that Freddie Kitchens was named the team's new head coach, and credited the Browns' former quarterbacks coach, Ken Zampese, for doing "all the coaching" during his hot streak.

The Browns had a 5-3 record under interim head coach Gregg Williams last year after a poor start with Hue Jackson at the helm. Rather than giving Williams the full-time gig, the Browns opted to go with Kitchens.

Wylie credits Kitchens' positive relationship with Baker Mayfield as the primary reason for the hire.

"Baker likes Freddie, so that had to (factor) into the decision," Wylie said in an interview on CBS Sports Radio.

Wylie also mentioned that he found out about his firing while he was nursing an ankle and knee injury in the hospital. Wylie left the team in December in order to take care of the injury.

With such an ugly breakup, it's easy to see the source of the hard feelings Wylie has for the Browns. Kitchens will have a list of critics to prove wrong next season, and it looks like Wylie is at the top of it.
