Coming out of the 2019 recruiting class, 5-star defensive end Antonio Alfano had monster expectations. Ranked the No. 1 player in the country by 247Sports, the 6-4, 285-pounder signed with Alabama over a boatload of other offers.

His time in Tuscaloosa was short lived, however, as he ended up leaving the program early. He transferred to Colorado, but things didn't go much better for him in Boulder. According to multiple reports, Alfano is already no longer a member of the Buffs' team.

The downfall continues for a young man who had so much promise coming out of high school in New Jersey. Alfano announced his decision to transfer to Colorado in October, officially joining the team in January.

Shortly after arriving to campus, he was suspended in February for a violation of team rules. Now, he's trying to find a third program to join.

Where will Alfano end up next? Rutgers would make sense, as it's his hometown school. However, head man Greg Schiano might consider the red flags surrounding the defensive lineman and ultimately decide not to bring him in.

We'll have to wait and see if someone gives Alfano a third chance at playing college ball. At a certain point, a kid just runs out of chances.
