Florida State is back in a bowl game after missing its first one in 27 years last season, which broke the longest FBS streak in Division I football. The Seminoles take on Herm Edwards' Arizona State Sun Devils in the Sun Bowl Tuesday afternoon in efforts to bring a bowl title back to Tallahassee ahead of the Mike Norvell era.

How to Watch Florida State vs. Arizona State

The game will be broadcast at 2:00 PM EST on CBS, and is also available online through the NCAA's college football reddit community.

Former defensive line coach Odell Haggins took over as the Seminoles' interim coach after Willie Taggart was fired following a 4-5 start, and will make his second bowl game appearance as interim head coach (his first was a 42-13 win over Southern Mississippi in the 2017 Independence Bowl after Jimbo Fisher resigned). His coaching ability shone through and he was able to quickly right the ship in Tallahassee, going 2-1 in the team's final three games.

FSU will be without the services of star running back Cam Akers, who will sit out in preparation for the NFL draft, as well as his backup Khalan Laborn, who's out with injury. Defensive back Sanford Samuels III will also sit for the the draft. Sophomore quarterback James Blackmon has 2,095 yards and 16 touchdowns on the year.

ASU will be without a few standout players as well, and will sorely miss their leading rusher and receiver, Eno Benjamin and Brandon Aiyuk, in the game. Both parties have not seen action in over a month. Arizona State is 7-5 (4-5 Pac12) this season.
