Team Finland has put together quite the tournament thus far, currently holding first place in Group A with five wins and one overtime loss. The Fins are led by young winger and projected top-two draft pick in the 2019 NHL Draft, Kaapo Kakko.
Kakko has been making his very convincing case to be selected first overall by the New Jersey Devils on June 21st, leading his team in scoring with seven points and a ton of highlight-reel plays. Finland remains a potential favorite to win the tournament, and will look to further prove it with a win over Germany.

Team Germany was the last remaining undefeated team in Group A with a record of 4-0, but since then they have dropped two straight games to the Americans and the Canadians. They will look to right the ship against the Fins and end the preliminary round on a high note.
