There are two sides to every coin, and that's no different in the case of the Houston Astros' sign-stealing scandal.

After fans booed the Astros for their cheating ways in their Spring Training opener against the Washington Nationals, Oakland Athletics supporters showed some love for whistleblower Mike Fiers in his first appearance of the preseason.

"Mike Fiers for President" might be a bold step, but maybe he could take the office of MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred! After all, he was the one who kicked off this insane offseason.

When he stepped onto the mound, the fans in attendance echoed the sentiments of the sign by giving him a round of applause.

One fan even said what everyone was thinking by shouting "baseball loves you!"

It's good to see the baseball world showing him their support. Current and former players alike have voiced their varying opinions on the controversial right-hander, with some, including David Ortiz, going as far as to label him a snitch. At least fans are supportive of the 34 year old.

This is probably only just the beginning of what is sure to be a warm welcome from fans across the league this season. Well, outside of Houston, that is.
