Fans Are Foolishly Speculating Odell Beckham-to-Patriots Trade After WR's Interaction With Tom Brady
By Michael Luciano

The love affair between Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham and the New England Patriots hasn't lost its spark after he was traded to Cleveland.
The Patriots were a rumored top suitor in a potential Beckham trade right before the Browns splurged to bring him to Northeast Ohio. Beckham, who talked last week about how he longs to play for Tom Brady as a member of the Patriots dynasty, had an extended chat with Brady after New England's 27-13 win.
Tom Brady and his son Ben waited outside the visiting locker room after Patriots/Browns so Ben could meet @obj.

The QB, WR and nine-year-old had a "lengthy chat…well after both locker rooms had cleared out" ✊

Beckham has just one touchdown in seven games since being traded to Cleveland. It turns out even he can be neutralized by incompetent coaching by Freddie Kitchens.
Sure sounds like OBJ really wanted to land with Tom Brady and the Patriots: https://t.co/M1E2YZvVwg

As you can imagine, fans are freaking out at this possibility and have turned this into a frenzy it doesn't need to be.
If I’m a WR needy team or a contender like the Patriots, Packers, etc. Id get on the phone, call John Dorsey & offer him 2 1st round picks (yes 2) for Odell Beckham Jr. He’d probably say no, but it’s worth a shot, especially with the way the Browns have failed OBJ through 7 games pic.twitter.com/kJxBrcd2gC

My God! That's Bill Belichick's music!

He's about to fleece the Browns, isn't he?

Belichick and Josh McDaniels value separation more than any other trait in a wide receiver, and you can count on one hand the receivers that can separate better than Beckham. From a football standpoint, there's no better pairing for a receiver and a coaching staff. However, if Cleveland does move away from him, it's highly unlikely they give him to the Pats unless it's a wildly beneficial trade offer.
