The Atlanta Falcons' kicking issues are becoming more apparent following the continued struggles of Giorgio Tavecchio. Even Tavecchio admitted that the "team deserves better" following his 4-for-8 showing through his first four preseason games.

Well, in order to shake things up a bit at the position and bring in a fresh new face, the Falcons are reportedly signing veteran kicker and former Minnesota Viking Blair Walsh.

Walsh is most renowned for his game-clinching missed field goal in the playoffs against the Seahawks in 2016, putting an end to the Vikings season-- and his career with the team.

His career hasn't gone to plan since his exit from Minnesota.

The next year he actually joined up with the Seahawks, playing in 16 games and converting 21-of-29 field goal attempts, before sitting out the 2018 season.

With Matt Bryant out of the mix and Tavecchio looking less and less like the future at kicker in Atlanta with each passing game, the Falcons turned to one of the veterans on the market in hopes of stabilizing a very unsettling position.

While Walsh is far from the most popular player at his position, he provides six years of kicking experience and is also looking to redeem himself in the league after a dissenting end to his Vikings' career.
