Ex-Cowboys WR Dez Bryant Gets in Huge Twitter Argument With Packers Writer Aaron Nagler

If stirring the social media pot led to an NFL contract, then congratulations, Dez Bryant, you'd be back in the league.

The current free agent wide receiver continued his long-standing beef with the city in which he did not "catch it" and mixed things up with Packers writer Aaron Nagler on Twitter, after Nagler said that Bryant is the "last thing [the Packers] need" in a discussion about Green Bay wide receivers.

Nagler's main argument was to let Green Bay's receivers develop more -- namely Marquez Valdes-Scantling -- rather than bring a veteran receiver like Bryant in.

The former Cowboys receiver's ego clearly took a hit from Nagler's tweet, as Bryant asked Nagler, "So you would be better?"

No, Dez. Nagler writes about football -- he doesn't play it.

Bryant aims to be back in the league by mid-October, saying that he's better now than he was when he joined the Saints last year. The 30-year-old tore his achilles tendon during a team practice, two days after signing with New Orleans.

The three-time Pro Bowl selection should be able to get back into the league on reputation alone, spending eight seasons with Dallas and ranking third all-time in receptions for the franchise.

Until a team calls Bryant up though, they can find him on Twitter, beefing with NFL writers.
