Euroleague Player Suspended After Using Girlfriend's Pee for Drug Test That Showed He Was Pregnant
By Michael Luciano

European star DJ Cooper has proven himself as one of the best players in French basketball. His accomplishments should be considered even more impressive considering he's been pregnant for the last six weeks.
Yes, you read that right. Cooper tried to use a sample of his girlfriend's urine in order to pass a FIBA doping test. Cooper's sample tested positive for high levels of human chronic gonadotropin, which is produced during pregnancy. According to his sample, Cooper was in the middle of the first trimester.
Apparently, this came as a shock...to all parties.

It turned out he had submitted his girlfriend’s urine, and she was likely unaware that she was pregnant. pic.twitter.com/rHjna7wI7z
As a result of this hilarious attempt to cheat the system, Cooper received a two-year ban.
Before he was baffling scientists everywhere, Cooper was a star for the Ohio Bobcats, as he became the only player in college basketball history to record 2,000 points, 900 assists, 600 rebounds, and 300 steals in a career. As a No. 13 seed in 2012, he beat No. 4 Michigan, advanced to the Sweet 16, and then took No. 1 seed North Carolina to overtime.
He was most recently the MVP of the French league with Pau Orthez before a move to AS Monaco. He left in 2018 due to personal reasons (note: not his pregnancy), but was hoping to make it onto the Bosnian national team in time for the FIBA World Cup.
If you ever wonder what happened to former NCAA March Madness hero DJ Cooper, he’s apparently pregnant!

At least, that’s according to the urine he submitted to FIBA, who suspended him until 2020 for trying to cheat a drug test. https://t.co/PXwb7L6VqV
Every now and again, a story comes along that just seems like it's too comical and silly to be true. However, Cooper being tested as nearly two months pregnant is baffling us just as much as it must've done to whomever had to test his sample.
