Eagles WR Greg Ward Set for a Bigger Role in Eagles Offense Moving Forward

With the Philadelphia Eagles currently plagued by injuries at the wide receiver position, expect some new faces to step up. And keep an eye on this kid.

According to coach Doug Pederson, we should see Greg Ward playing more in the Eagles upcoming games due to Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor being hurt.

Ward was promoted from the practice squad recently, and should be starting this Sunday against the Dolphins alongside rookie J.J. Arcega-Whiteside. The 24 year old receiver had been on and off with the team since 2017, and has impressed with his increased playing time recently. Last Sunday against the Seahawks, he had six receptions for 40 yards.

The Eagles are desperate for any answer at this position, so if Ward continues to impress, the undrafted prospect may retain this starting spot over Agholor or Jeffery even when they return. Carson Wentz needs help from his receivers. Let's see if Ward can deliver.
