There could be a potential reunion in the City of Brotherly Love.
According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, free agent running back Jay Ajayi is set to visit his former team, the Philadelphia Eagles, on Friday.
A possible reunion: Free agent RB Jay Ajayi is visiting the #Eagles tomorrow, source said. He thrived there last year before tearing his ACL, and had an impressive 2017 in Philly, as well.

During the 2017 season, the Eagles front office made a huge splash by acquiring Ajayi from the Miami Dolphins for their playoff push. Ajayi created an electric running back committee with LeGarrette Blount and Corey Clement, which helped alleviate the pressure on quarterback Nick Foles, resulting in the franchise's first-ever Super Bowl victory.
The running back's stint in Philly ended after he suffered a torn ACL four games into the 2018 season. Ever since, Ajayi has remained on the open market and he most recently worked out for the Arizona Cardinals.

Sproles and Howard have been added to the injury report this week, could the injuries be more severe than expected? pic.twitter.com/GKK5IMm6E6
Philadelphia is banged up at the running back position entering their pivotal Week 11 matchup against the New England Patriots. Both Jordan Howard and Darren Sproles are listed on the team's injury report.
Ajayi does have a familiarity with head coach Doug Pederson's offense, so if he were to sign a contract, he'd likely play a complementary role behind rookie Miles Sanders.
