Torrential rains, blistering winds, and just three active wide receivers? Sounds like Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz has an interesting night ahead of him.

In all seriousness, the Eagles' offensive pantry is running shockingly low ahead of Monday Night Football, with veteran Alshon Jeffery, converted QB Greg Ward, and rookie JJ Arcega-Whiteside as the lone active receivers left standing with the likes of Nelson Agholor out injured.

The hobbled Eagles head into tonight's divisional clash in real need of a win. The Giants are expected to start veteran Eli Manning, a certified interception machine with a registered noodle for an arm. These circumstances suggest that the Birds should roll to victory, but their injury issues could be the thing that truly holds them back in this contest. It's going to take a headstrong effort from the team if they want to emerge victorious against a staggering Giants squad with injury issues of their own.

Expect the Eagles to lean on their incredibly talented group of tight ends in this contest, with Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert likely to do a lot of damage over the middle against a vulnerable Giants secondary. A win in this game would give Philadelphia a tie for first in the NFC East despite their sub .500 record, so they have all the incentive in the world to think outside the box and manufacture a downfield game.
