Skip Bayless has never been one to mince words, and his latest criticism of Philadelphia Eagles draftee Jalen Reagor is no exception. But while it's easy to fall into the trap of letting Skip rile you up to no end, Reagor instead fired back with a simple response that could not have been more encouraging for the fans in Philly.

Bayless expressed his shock at the Eagles drafting Reagor with the 21st pick, this year. This was much higher than a number of mock drafts had him going, and there were a number of other top options available in a seriously deep draft for receivers.

Not lacking for confidence, the young Eagle mocked Bayless' take with a simple affirmative emoji, and he'll have plenty of time to let his play on the field do the talking. In the meantime, let's take a look at just how viable Skip's claim is in the first place.

While many may had penned in Reagor as a late first-round pick, the Eagles legitimately liked what they saw enough to make the move at No. 21, and for good reason. As a three-year player at Texas Christian, Reagor put up some impressive college numbers. A 1,000-yard season in his sophomore campaign is the clear standout.

Reagor's key attribute? His incredible speed out of the backfield, making him effective as both a wide receiver and a runner in specialty packages. Just check out the wheels out of the cut in this highlight.

Few other recivers pose a readymade dual threat quite like Reagor. And about that claim of better receivers available? The best ones were already gone in Henry Ruggs III, Jalen Jeudy, and CeeDee Lamb; the closest competition for Reagor was the 22nd pick, Justin Jefferson, but at that point, it is just a coin flip between the two in terms of NFL outlook.

All told, kudos to this young man for having some fun with Skip's take. Now, all he has to do is show up on the NFL stage for an Eagles team that could certainly use his help.
