Drake Curse Transfers to Giannis Antetokounmpo After Jersey Photo Surfaces

The Alabama Crimson Tide, Kentucky Wildcats, Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors, at some point or another, have been the long-suffering victims of the renown "Drake Curse."

Some unfortunate athletes have even been forced to personify the superstition and we can now officially include Giannis Antetokounmpo on that exclusive list after a photo of the decorated artist surfaced of him holding the Greek Freak's jersey. Have a look for yourself:

It all makes sense now! From Antetokounmpo's atrocious free throw shooting (8-for-17 combined the last two games) and overall poor efficiency from the floor (14-for-33 over Games 2 and 3), we FINALLY have an explanation.

The curse has even translated into Antetokounmpo falling victim to posters as of late, a highlight he is obviously used to being on the dunking-end of.

Ever since Drake became a global ambassador for the Raptors in 2013, the franchise has bowed out in miserable, heartbreaking fashion in the postseason (more often than not to LeBron James). Perhaps, however, the curse can rattle Giannis just enough for the series' remaining games, so that Toronto can waltz by his Bucks and into their first ever NBA Finals appearance.

And of course, the franchise would be forced into giving Drake a considerable percentage of the credit.
