One of the biggest debates in the world of baseball today is whether or not Pete Rose should have his lifetime ban from the sport lifted. This would allow Rose to be on the Hall of Fame ballots and possibly be elected into Cooperstown.

The all-time hits leader has many supporters that advocate for his cause, including none other than the President of the United States himself, Donald Trump.

Just like thousands of baseball fans around the nation, Trump feels that Rose has paid his price for his wrongdoings. As he has more hits than any baseball player ever, and never cheated in any way, fans feel it is an injustice to baseball to not include him in the Hall.

The long-time Cincinnati Red was banned from baseball for life in 1989 when an investigation found he was gambling on outcomes of games he partook in (even though he never bet against himself.)

As Rose has recently asked for reinstatement from the MLB in light of the Astros' cheating scandal, maybe the suits will take President Trump's advice into consideration.
