VIDEO: This Young Baseball Player Hits Bottle Caps Off a Slingshot and Needs a Contract Right Now
By Sean Facey

Using bottle caps in place of baseballs is no new thing in the Dominican Republic. But hitting them via slingshot? That's a completely different story. This video of an aspiring ballplayer mashing sling-shot bottle caps is undoubtedly one of the most impressive displays of baseball prowess and hand-eye coordination in recent memory. This kid has a fat contract in his future.

That's pure talent right there. That kid has a bright future in baseball, and it might be wise for a team to sign him right now. It's not every day that you see a display of such concentration and precision.
Countless former players who have made it to the bigs swear by the bottle caps. Guys like Vladimir Guerrero credit their success to the stickball and bottle cap games they would play in their youth.
Vitilla, a stickball game played with a bottle cap, is often credited for developing hand-eye in Dominican players (esp. Vlad Guerrero the Elder). No doubt old man Harper heard about that.

If this young stud is mashing bottle caps with ease now, then he could be the next big thing in baseball in less than a decade.
