The Los Angeles Dodgers are suffering from yet another heartbreaking postseason exit, despite their stacked roster. So, they're looking to make a huge addition this offseason.

According to MLB insider Jon Heyman, the Dodgers have free agent third baseman Anthony Rendon "on their radar."

As Heyman notes, having Justin Turner on the roster isn't limiting them in their pursuit of top free agents. In fact, Turner has offered to switch positions in order to build a World Series contender.

Rendon will come at a hefty price, though, as he turned down a $210 million contract extension last offseason with the Washington Nationals. Now that he's a World Series champion and a 2019 NL MVP finalist, he will likely command the most lucrative contract for a third baseman, one which would surpass Nolan Arenado's $260 million.

If there's one team that's not afraid to spend a lot of coin in the offseason, it's the Los Angeles Dodgers. However, they could have some stiff competition from the Washington Nationals, especially if they lose out on Stephen Strasburg.

Don't forget that the Dodgers are also in on free agent Josh Donaldson as well.

Either way, Anthony Rendon is going to be one rich man this winter.
