Disgraceful Dolphins Reportedly Allowing Former Top Pick Minkah Fitzpatrick to Seek Trade
By Scott Rogust

It's common knowledge to every NFL fan that the Miami Dolphins are in the midst of a tanking season. And the dysfunction has escalated even further.
According to ESPN's Chris Mortensen, the Dolphins have granted permission to safety Minkah Fitzpatrick to seek a trade out of Miami.

Shortly afterward, a Dolphins team official told ESPN that the team is not actively shopping Fitzpatrick, but did not deny that the team gave Fitzpatrick permission to explore moves.
Dolphins team official now tells @CameronWolfe they are not actively shopping Fitzpatrick but did not deny they have given agent Joel Segal permission to talk with other teams. Segal has been unavailable for comment but other NFL teams have confirmed contact. https://t.co/z3FCN3tyqL

This news shouldn't come as a shock, as reports earlier this week indicated that multiple Dolphins players requested a trade following their 59-10 blowout loss to the Baltimore Ravens this past Sunday.
The Dolphins drafted Fitzpatrick with the 11th overall pick just a year ago. He was touted as an elite defensive prospect out of Alabama, one that could help expedite a rebuild.

In 17 career games with Miami, Fitzpatrick recorded 85 tackles (2 for loss), 9 passes defensed, and 2 interceptions.
The fact that Fitzpatrick wants out after one year shows just how poorly the rebuild is being received inside the organization.
