Didi Gregorius is probably the nicest guy in all of baseball, and he might even be the nicest player in all of sports. He plays the game with passion and joy, and he takes great pride in giving the fans the best experience they could possibly ask for when they come to the stadium.

He really gave the fans something to be happy about with his ALDS Game 2 grand slam. At the end of the Yankees' 8-2 win, though, the shortstop asked the fan who caught the ball, Joseph Rezza, if he could have it. Rezza obliged, and Didi promptly took the ball, signed it, and gave it back.

That's the type of character you just love to see in a player. Gregorius, who's in the middle of an intense stretch of playoff baseball, took the time out of his night following the game to make this baseball just a little bit more memorable for Rezza.

While most players would be eager to get their hands on the high-profile home run ball, Gregorius only wanted to put his autograph on it, making the moment that much more special for the fan who was lucky enough to walk away with the piece of MLB history.

Didi Gregorius is the type of baseball player every team would love to have. He has the fan's interest at heart, and you honestly can't ask much more out of a guy off of the field.
