Did Aaron Rodgers Take a Shot at Mike McCarthy After Packers Loss to 49ers?

Venerated Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers had another NFC title game to forget on Sunday, this time with Matt LaFleur at the helm instead of new Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy.

And if you encountered the quote Rodgers dropped after the loss, it seems he's still in a far better mindset after this disappointment than usual.

Per Rodgers, the game is fun again, which...feels like a direct shot across the bough at McCarthy and his culture, seeing as the loss certainly couldn't have tasted much sweeter for many other reasons.

Yeah, that's strange. Perhaps Rodgers was referring to his newly-intensified defense, which he gave plenty of credit to throughout the year?

However, that unit was massively outplayed when it mattered most against the 49ers, unable to contain a healthy dose of Raheem Mostert. That cannot be it.

Perhaps it was because Aaron Jones took a bit of the pressure off this time around? Well, who instituted that series of play calls, I wonder?

Bottom line is, the 36-year-old Rodgers confidently announced after another pockmark loss that he was finally having fun again, stuck with the same low-level weapons he's always had.

Seems like only one key factor really changed this year. Same result, different journey. Huh.
