Devin Hester has plenty of confidence that his football career was worthy of the game's greatest honor.

The former electric Chicago Bears return specialist has full-fledged faith that he'll make his way into the NFL Hall of Fame.

"There's no question I will be a Hall of Famer," said Hester.

He has perhaps one of the most intriguing cases for Canton. While he carved out a career for himself almost exclusively on special teams, there's no doubt that he was an absolute game changer, and arguably the best kick returner of all time.

He finished his career with 19 touchdown returns, 14 on punts and 5 on kickoffs, and he also totaled 14,455 all-purpose yards in his 11 seasons in the NFL.

Few players could strike fear into the hearts of opposing teams like Hester did when he geared up to return a kick or punt. Let's not forget what he did on the FIRST PLAY of Super Bowl XLI, taking an Adam Vinateri kickoff 92 yards to the house.

But again, his case for enshrinement is unique. One of the few comparable players to Hester is Dante Hall, the Kansas City Chiefs returner who amassed over 14,000 all-purpose yards of his own. He's not in the Hall of Fame, despite being renowned as another all-time great on special teams.

There's no denying Hester's greatness as a return specialist, but only time will tell if the voters agree that he's a sure-fire Hall of Famer, or if he'll even make the cut.
