Delanie Walker Calls Out Titans Twitter Account for Posting Tasteless QB Battle Article

Titans fans finally got their wish, and it took them all of two quarters to regret it.

Tennessee fans who have been clamoring for quarterback Marcus Mariota to be benched in favor of Ryan Tannehill saw that come to fruition against the Denver Broncos. While Tannehill moved the ball more than Mariota, he was intercepted and failed to put any points on the board. The Titans tweeted the team will decide in the next 24 hours if Mariota or Tannehill will start, and tight end Delanie Walker ripped them for airing their dirty laundry.

Yup, not exactly the most endearing of tweets, especially one for a disgruntled fanbase.

While Mariota wasn't playing fantastic football, he wasn't turning the ball over and managed the game fairly well. Still, his struggles downfield were too much for Titans fans, and Tannehill got the call.

Be it Mariota or Tannehill under center, neither QB has much of a chance at success. The once-stout offensive line has let up more sacks than anyone else, while Corey Davis is simply not a No. 1 wide receiver in this league. New OC Arthur Smith's offense also looks extremely basic.

Mike Vrabel may not be picking between Joe Montana and Steve Young, but Mariota wasn't given the most desirable group around him to work with. Time will tell who ends up starting next week against the Chargers and if Walker is happy about it.
