DE Connor Barwin Reveals He Wants to Return to Eagles
By Michael Luciano

While the Philadelphia Eagles pass rush will have a bit less teeth in it this year after Michael Bennett was sent to New England and Chris Long retired, Connor Barwin is offering his services to his old club.
Barwin spent four years in Philadelphia, making his only Pro Bowl in 2015 when he had 14.5 sacks. In an attempt to recapture the glory days, Barwin is remaining in contact with center Jason Kelce about a possible return.
Veteran DE Connor Barwin, who last played for the #Giants, told @Heavysan that he wants to play for the #Eagles in 2019. Barwin says he’s been in contact with Howie Roseman and is training with #Eagles C Jason Kelce.

Barwin spent four years with Philadelphia from 2013-2016.
Barwin found a home in Philadelphia after four years with the Houston Texans, but has since floated around with the Rams and the Giants, never looking like the same strong, explosive player he did in an Eagles jersey.
While Barwin may not be the same player he once was, given the relentless march of father time, he'd certainly be a solid addition for the Eagles if they want to add another veteran rotational piece.
Didn’t he once have 15 sacks for them?

Barwin's best days might be behind him, and he is no youngster at 32, but the Eagles could certainly do worse than a battle-scarred veteran like him, especially one familiar with the organization.
