The Boston Red Sox are reportedly ready and willing to trade former high-priced free agent acquisition David Price in hopes of shedding payroll. While Boston likely has to attach a prospect or two to sweeten the deal and support any franchise's decision to take on that sort of contract, there are several teams which would be smart to make such a move in hopes of rebooting Price's career.

3. Chicago White Sox

The White Sox are trying to accelerate their rebuild, and what better way to do that than to eat the rest of Price's contract and add to their farm system in the same deal? Not to mention, Price could revitalize a rotation which needs a leader.

2. Texas Rangers

The Rangers are stuck in the mud, but as they open a new stadium there have been talks of making a big splash, potentially even signing Anthony Rendon. Trading for Price gives Texas an anchor for their rotation and another big name to get fans out to the ballpark.

1. Angels

The Angels make the most sense here, especially if they don't land Gerrit Cole. Management has flat-out stated that they have the payroll to land two $20 million-plus players. Price could be one of those, and help a revamped Angels rotation as well.
