Daryl Morey's Twitter account has gotten him in trouble in the recent past. One simple tweet cost the NBA hundreds of millions of dollars from China, yet Morey was able to keep his job as Houston Rockets general manager.

A tweet sent by Morey on Monday will end up drawing backlash once again, this time from within the city of Houston. The GM had a bizarre troll of the Houston Astros when talking about his own team.

There are two ways to look at this. The first is that Morey is trolling the Astros and the second is that he is supporting the team and fighting back against the idea of an asterisk being next to the team's 2017 World Series title.

While the Rockets aren't cheating per say, any championship won in 2020 will have an asterisk attached to it.

Whoever runs the Rockets account is going to have quite the fun Monday night. For Morey, this is just another example of why high-level executives may just want to stay off social media.
