This was the kind of game that Giants fans have been waiting for from tight end Darren Waller. He hadn't quite lived up to the hype leading up to Week 7 vs. the Commanders, but goodness, he had himself a GAME on Sunday.

In the Giants 14-7 victory over the Commanders, Waller led the way with seven receptions for 98 yards and a touchdown. Waller's score put the G-Men up 7-0 and thankfully for Big Blue fans, NY never trailed in this one. Waller won't forget this TD in the near future:

Waller had gone the first six weeks of his Giants career without a touchdown, but he was able to get the job done vs. the Commanders. The Giants were in desperate need for a win and they made the needed plays late to come out on top.

For Waller, this will surely give him plenty of confidence moving forward. Who knows, maybe this win for the Giants will be a turning point for the rest of the season.
