Darren Rovell Complained About Paying Extra $1.68 on His Sushi Bill and Got Roasted
By Kevin Aquino

Sports business analyst Darren Rovell went in on a solo sushi dinner, pointed out a specific $1.68 fee at the bottom of his bill, and heard some criticism in his Twitter mentions as a result.
Per usual.
Rovell posted a picture of his receipt and pointed out a small amount that was added to help cover the restaurant's health insurance fees for its workers... which was apparently optional in the first place.
The food was good tonight, so I don’t mind paying for the health insurance for the guy who made my sushi. Wait, what. pic.twitter.com/0n9SjNaNP2

Does Rovell's caption suggest that if the food was bad, he wouldn't have wanted to contribute less than two bucks for a worker's health insurance?
Whatever the case may be, folks on Twitter were having more fun with the fact that ol' Darren was dining alone:
Weird that nobody wants to go out to eat with you. pic.twitter.com/gakRJNby3q

As if getting embarrassed by streetball legend Hot Sauce wasn't enough, Rovell is embarrassing himself on Twitter too. Go figure.
Being a sports bettings specialist, Rovell is probably looking at numbers all day, but if he's gonna start looking into his restaurant bills, maybe he should keep it off of Twitter.
