VIDEO: Darren McFadden's Wild Arrest Clip Surfaces
By Jerry Trotta

In January of 2019, former NFL running back running back Darren McFadden was arrested for drunk driving and resisting arrested outside of a Whatburger in Texas. It's taken well over a year, but TMZ has obtained footage of the encounter, and it's disturbing, to say the least. The clip shows McFadden asleep at the wheel and attempting to resist arrest, while police pulled their weapons on the former Arkansas star.
As you can see, McFadden was found passed out inside his car, and was unresponsive to authorities banging on his window in an effort to wake him up. What's so alarming about this arrest is that the vehicle was never turned off.
McFadden's foot slipped off the brake at one point while he was still sleeping, and his car subsequently rolled into the side of the fast food establishment. The former No. 4 overall pick only woke up once officers smashed the window of his car and opened the door.
That's when McFadden began resisting arrest. The body cam shows that officers were eventually able to wrestle him to the ground, once they pulled out their guns and tasers.

Per TMZ, the 32-year-old was charged with a BAC greater than or equal to .15. He pled guilty to driving while intoxicated, which saw the resisting arrest charge dropped. McFadden was sentenced to four days in jail (one day served) and his driver's license was suspended for 90 days.
This is obviously an awful look for the former Dallas Cowboy and Oakland Raider. His NFL days may be over, but he has some serious off-field issues to sort out.
