There's been much speculation over whether or not the Toronto Raptors plan to visit the White House to celebrate their NBA Finals win, as is always the first question asked when a team wins a title during the Trump administration.

For his part, Danny Green doesn't think it's going to happen.

"I just don't think that we accept," Green said. "To put it politely." Well, there you have it!

They wouldn't be the first team in recent memory to skip the trip. In fact, no NBA team has visited the White House during Donald Trump's tenure as President. The last team to visit was the Cleveland Cavaliers back in 2016, when Barack Obama was still in office.

The most recent championship team to go to the White House, the Boston Red Sox, faced a barrage of criticism, and the trip itself was fraught with strange moments.

But for all the intrigue surrounding a visit to Washington D.C., there seems to be no doubt over the team's plans to visit Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau

Head coach Nick Nurse confirmed that the team plans to visit Trudeau, a fitting decision for the nation's first NBA champions.
