For the thrifty among us, there's a pretty enticing BOGO deal in NBA free agency Buy one Kawhi Leonard, get one Danny Green free.

Green has played with Kawhi in every season of Leonard's career, even making the trip up north with him in the DeMar DeRozan trade that ultimately brought the Toronto Raptors their first ever NBA championship. With Board Man likely to decide between the Raptors and Los Angeles Lakers in free agency, it sounds like Green will tag along with him wherever he goes after he specifically praised the Lakers in a Yahoo Sports podcast.

It seems odd that the 32-year-old Green, who is coming off a year in which he scored 10.3 points per game on 45 percent three point shooting at a time when his skillset is becoming increasingly valuable, is limiting his free agent prospects to wherever Kawhi ends up.

Green's hesitance to sign comes as even more of a surprise when he claimed that he hasn't talked to Kawhi about his free agency plans, implying that he is planning his future independently of Leonard.

You're telling me a player like Green hasn't received a suitable offer yet?

Wherever Kawhi ends up, you could expect Green to tag along on a veteran minimum deal. It'll be similar to James Jones following LeBron wherever he went.
