New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is in a tricky spot. After the Giants declined his fifth-year option, he used the 2022 campaign as an audition for a long-term deal. Jones played well, leading the G-Men to the playoffs for the first time since 2016.

Now, though, Jones is looking to be paid through the roof. Per Mike Florio, Jones wants around $45 million per season. Holy smokes.

Jones really improved this past season and was a major reason why Big Blue was able to get back into the playoffs. However, he's not worth $45 million a campaign. Joe Schoen won't give in to these kinds of demands either. Jones is going to have to reduce his number as soon as possible.
