Dana Holgorsen Contract Already Looks Questionable for Houston After Rough Start
By Michael Luciano

With D'Eriq King at quarterback and former West Virginia head coach Dana Holgorsen leading the charge, how could things possibly go wrong for the Houston Cougars?
Holgorsen left the Mountaineers for one of the most talented Group-of-Five teams in college football, but has guided them to just one win in their first four games. Mixed into that stretch of futility was a heartbreaking loss to Willie Fritz and Tulane.

Holgorsen signed a five-year $20 million deal this offseason, but not even half of the way through his first season and Cougar fans are already wishing for the glory days of Tom Herman or Major Applewhite.
The problem with Holgorsen is the fact he hasn't adapted his offense to fit his personnel, much like Kevin Sumlin with Khalil Tate. Rather than get King on the move and running, he wants him to drop back and throw it 40 times. That's just not his game.

In his first season after he left Morgantown, Holgorsen is looking more like Rich Rodriguez than Bobby Bowden.
The worst part of this whole affair is that West Virginia under Neal Brown looks awful. In the end, everyone loses.
