Dak Prescott Claims TMZ Photo Depicting Controversial Party Wasn't Even Taken at His House

Amid ongoing COVID-19 concerns, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott got hit with major criticism after it TMZ reported that he hosted a birthday party at his home with over 30 guests in major violation of social distancing directives.
Prescott was visited by law enforcement at his home, though authorities discovered fewer than 10 people when they arrived, which falls within Texas’ social distancing guidelines. After the fact, the Dallas QB insisted the TMZ photos that drew controversy weren't even taken at his house, but rather at nearby restaurant, Nick and Sam's
Prior to the TMZ report, Prescott caught flak for working out with teammate Ezekiel Elliot and former Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant. A photo also surfaced of Prescott and Bryant locking arms after a separate workout two weeks ago.
Even though every indication is that Prescott and Elliott are in good health, it sets a bad example for others to see public figures flaunting social distancing imperatives so blatantly. Prescott has got to be more cautious about how he conducts himself, a sentiment that was echoed by Cowboys vice president Stephen Jones on Dallas sports radio Tuesday.
Hopefully, we won’t have to worry about players working out, taking pictures together, and having dangerous get-togethers for much longer, as we all want things to go back to normal. But until then, caution has to put certain activities on hold.
