Cowboys WR Ventell Bryant Arrested in Tampa for DUI

While Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys are looking to lock up star wide receiver Amari Cooper to a long-term deal, they've got a totally different issue with another speedster on the team. That speedster would be wideout Ventell Bryant.
On Wednesday morning, the 23-year-old receiver was arrested in his hometown of Tampa, Fla. for reportedly driving under the influence.

Per the police report, Bryant was booked by the Tampa Police Department at around 4:45 a.m. He was given two breathalyzer tests, blowing .102 and .099, respectively. Both of course are above the .08 legal limit.
The Temple product was a key special teams player for Dallas in 2019. He originally signed with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent, but was cut before the start of the season. He then landed with Dallas on its practice squad, ultimately earning a promotion to the active roster.

Bryant was held to one catch for the Cowboys last campaign, but it was a memorable 15-yard touchdown against the Bills in late November. The Cowboys are yet to comment on the arrest of their young receiver.
