Cowboys Hire Gary Kubiak's Son to Join Scouting Department
By James.r

New Vikings offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak's son, Klein, has earned himself a new gig. He's joining up with the Cowboys as an area scout. A former wide receiver at Rice University, Klein Kubiak did not have his contract renewed by the Broncos -- the team his father coached in 2015 and '16 -- where he spent five years as a scout and personnel assistant.
Now, he will take over as a midwest scout for Dallas.

Time for the next chapter.

Interestingly, Klein did not end up joining his father and brother Klint in Minnesota. Gary, whose contract was not renewed by the Broncos following serving as a senior personnel advisor over the last two years, will be supervising Klint, who was hired to Mike Zimmer's staff as quarterbacks coach.
Congrats to former #Broncos scout Klein Kubiak on landing with the #Cowboys. Wasn’t on the open market long and rightfully so. He’ll be hitting up the midwest for Dallas.

News first broke of Klein's hiring on May 30, but his tweet today officially confirms the reporting.
The Kubiak family has a long history in the NFL, as Gary has participated in seven Super Bowls: three as a player, three as an assistant coach, plus one as a head coach. This family pedigree should help Klint and Klein (the third child's name is Klay –– I guess Gary and his wife really like a certain letter) in their new NFL jobs.
