When the Dallas Cowboys acquired veteran defensive end Michael Bennett from the New England Patriots, nobody envisioned them getting a difference-maker.

In just one game, it appears Big D did just that.

Bennett's first game as a Cowboy came on Monday night against the New York Giants and he was dominant, tallying three tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack and four quarterback hits. He was pressuring the quarterback and was a standout in stopping the run in limited snaps.

It may be just one game against the Giants, who aren't anything to write home about, but their offensive line isn't the weakness is use to be. On top of that, Dallas didn't really give up anything --a seventh-round pick! -- to get him from New England, yet he already looks like a player they can rely on moving forward in the NFC East race.

Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett may get crushed all the time for not being good at his job, but he or his coaching staff seem to have unchained a beast along the defensive line, a huge boon to their chances as they draw closer to the playoffs.
