According to multiple news outlets, Ross was pulled over on a routine traffic stop when cops noticed an undisclosed amount of weed and a firearm in the car, and promptly arrested him.
Ross is currently on the injured reserve list with a shoulder injury. Last year, he played 13 games for the Cowboys in a backup position, registering 14 tackles and one sack.

With this, Ross possibly squandered a golden opportunity to keep his roster spot on a playoff-bound team, as there's a good chance he'll be released by the Cowboys after this incident.
Ross latched on with the Cowboys after a stint in the CFL and practice squad appearances with the Texans, Chiefs and Lions. The former Northeastern Mississippi Community College standout made his NFL debut in 2017 with the Cowboys, and has featured in 16 total games in his career.
