Cowboys Say They've Been in Contact With Dolphins Regarding Minkah Fitzpatrick Trade
By Michael Luciano

If he truly is available, EVERY NFL team should be trying to trade for disgruntled Miami Dolphins defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick, the No. 11 pick in the 2018 NFL draft, who has demanded a trade amid what is clearly tanking and frustration with his role in Brian Flores' defense.
The market for Fitzpatrick is already shaping up, as Dallas Cowboys VP Stephen Jones confirmed that he and Dolphins management are in contact over a potential deal.
The Dolphins are open to trading safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, the 11th overall pick in 2018. Cowboys VP Stephen Jones was just asked on @1053thefan if they have had any communication with the Dolphins in the last 24 hours. Jones said “yeah,” but he wouldn’t comment on specifics

Fitzpatrick played in all 16 games last year, recording 80 tackles and two interceptions. He had five tackles in Miami's 59-10 curb-stomping at the hands of the Baltimore Ravens.
Fitzpatrick's versatility to play safety, slot corner, and outside corner was long thought to be his calling card, but it appears that Minkah has his heart set on playing slot corner, and Flores is unwilling to give in.
Given the fact that Miami is on the hook for most of his contract, and the fact that Cowboys could use a slot corner, this trade make too much sense for Dallas. Plug him in and start racking up the interceptions.
The #Cowboys could consider moving on from Taco Charlton, and the #Dolphins have given Minkah Fitzpatrick the green light to seek a trade.

While Miami should have the franchise taken away from them for this blatant act of football sacrilege, the Cowboys could grab a future Pro Bowl defensive back for pennies on the dollar. What are you waiting for?
