Cowboys Finally Address Hole in Secondary With Latest Signing

Dallas Cowboys fans can breathe a sigh of relief after the team has finally addressed the gaping hole in its secondary that was left following the departure of cornerback Byron Jones.

On Tuesday night, the Cowboys inked an agreement with CB Daryl Worley, formerly of the Las Vegas Raiders. The 25-year-old defensive back took to Twitter to confirm the signing in a post that will surely hype up Dallas fans.

In 15 games with the Raiders last season, he compiled 58 tackles, eight pass deflections and one interception. Pro Football Focus gave him a grade of 64 for his efforts. That's not an elite tally by any means, but you're not going to find star talent at this stage of the offseason.
The most important thing here is that the Cowboys addressed a need. They also used a pair of picks on cornerbacks in the NFL Draft -- Trevon Diggs at No. 51 overall and Reggie Robinson in the fourth round.

At 6-1 and 205 pounds, Worley figures to play a big role in the system of new defensive coordinator Mike Nolan, who loves tall and lengthy corners.
