Cowboys Guard Connor Williams to Undergo Arthroscopic Knee Surgery Tuesday
By Michael Luciano

The Dallas Cowboys will have to plug yet another hole in their suddenly crumbling offensive line, as their left guard could miss a significant amount of time.
Second-year guard Connor Williams is set to undergo arthroscopic knee surgery, and it is unclear at this moment how long the former Texas Longhorn will be out.

A projected first-round pick out of Texas, Williams slipped into the second round in the 2018 NFL Draft, and Dallas quickly turned him from a tackle to a guard. While he was up and down during his rookie season, he has allowed just one sack all season in Year 2. Williams is not dominant, but he's certainly an average to above-average interior lineman with tackle flexibility.
Backup lineman Xavier Su'a-Filo is expected to take most of the snaps at left guard until Williams is back and healthy.

The Cowboys have been in a bit of a rut of late, and the last thing they needed was a starting offensive lineman on the upswing to go down with an injury.
