A former sixth-round pick out of Purdue, Brown had started 34 games for the Cowboys, including four this year. He has 17 tackles this season, and has four total interceptions during his tenure in Dallas. Pro Football Focus had given the 25-year-old a 63.9 grade this season, signifying he is one of the better slot corners in the league.
Chidobe Awizue, Byron Jones, and Jourdan Lewis will hold down the fort for Dallas, while former Bengal CJ Goodwin is expected to see an increase in snaps following Brown's injury.

Brown had seen limited snaps over the past few weeks. After featuring in at least 40 defensive snaps through each of the Cowboys' first five games, he combined for a total of 25 snaps across his three most recent appearances.
The last thing Dallas needed was more turmoil in their secondary, and Brown's absence is another monkey wrench that has been thrown into the machine.
