With the free agent market for starting pitchers growing smaller by the week, we can expect a plethora of clubs scheming to orchestrate a trade to address the shortcomings of their starting rotation.

Well, Corey Kluber holds next to no future in Cleveland and reportedly remains a hot topic of trade discussions entering the weekend.

In fact, MLB insider Jon Heyman understands that Kluber has four organizations -- the Dodgers, Padres, Angels, and Rangers -- all showing interest in him.

It remains to be seen which of the aforementioned franchises holds the upper hand at this stage, but it goes without saying that all four clubs need starting pitching.

On Saturday night, Ken Rosenthal reported that Los Angeles is feeling relatively optimistic in their chances to land Kluber.

The Angels optimism shouldn't come as a surprise after missing out on Gerrit Cole. Further, their addition of Anthony Rendon has them convinced they could compete in 2020.

GM Billy Eppler will be keen on striking a deal, but don't expect the Dodgers, Padres and Rangers to just lie down.
