The Indianapolis Colts will be forced to shut down one of their young and emerging stars on offense.

Rookie wide receiver Parris Campbell suffered a broken foot on Sunday against the Buccaneers. Remarkably, he managed to play the rest of the game, but he's now headed to injured reserve.

The former Ohio State standout reportedly suffered the foot injury early on in Sunday's clash, but stayed in the game and fought through the pain. Unfortunately that's the last we'll see of the second-round pick this year.

On the season, Campbell, age 22, logged 18 receptions for 127 yards and a touchdown. He featured in seven games, drawing three starts, but dealt with injuries throughout the year, as he was inactive from Week 5 through Week 7, and again from Weeks 10 through 13.

Campbell will be hoping for an injury-free campaign in 2020 while also looking to insert himself into a larger role within Indy's offense.
