Colin Cowherd's Quarterback Arm Talent Rankings is a Crime Against Football

Colin Cowherd, FS1's hot take extraordinaire, might have finally uncorked his wildest take yet when he ranked the best arms currently plying their trade in the NFL.

Cowherd's "arm talent" rankings have Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson at No. 1, followed by Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Kyler Murray, and Jared Goff.

Let's dissect this list, shall we? Wilson is a phenomenal talent and as accurate as anyone in the league, but is probably a notch below the best "arm talents" in the league. Brady and Brees are both over 40 and have seen their arm strength slowly ebb away with age. Goff appears to be throwing medicine balls deep down the field at times. Murray is the only justified inclusion on this list.

How can Cowherd justify leaving Patrick Mahomes, of all people, out of the top five? Aaron Rodgers, Carson Wentz, and Matthew Stafford also have bones to pick with him.

Cowherd claimed that his arm talent rankings were based on who throws a catchable ball and who hits receivers in stride. That's not arm talent, that's accuracy! Even if you want to phrase the argument like that, why are stars like Lamar Jackson and Deshaun Watson behind someone like Goff?

Cowherd is a master at drawing arise out of people with wild takes, but this list is so off-balance that it almost defies belief.
